Paul and I took to the stage to share our deep appreciation for everyone’s support. “I am completely touched by this evening’s celebration,” said Paul, “and the opportunity, because of Debra and her book, to get Bio-Touch out to ALL of humanity. In her writing, Debra had to be open and vulnerable to a public audience. I applaud your courage, Debra. And I applaud all of you who have supported the message of Bio-Touch for 25 years now.”
When it was my turn to speak, I clutched the microphone and said, “WOW! The book is finally here! And it only took four years, seven months, and 11 days since I began writing it on March 5th, 2011. I’ll always remember the date because it was my mother’s 91st birthday. Paul had told me how he wished someone would write a book about Bio-Touch so more people could learn about it. Immediately, it hit me that I should be the one to write this book!” Then I thanked my family and Paul for their unwavering encouragement and guidance.
Dr. Carole McKenzie, Associate Professor of Nursing at Texas A&M University—Commerce, who wrote the afterword to my book, joined us on stage to share her heartfelt thoughts about the importance of Bio-Touch. Then I concluded with, “And finally, thank you all for being here tonight, helping to support the most unique healing technique called Bio-Touch. Now let’s eat cake and celebrate!”
I wasn’t sure where it was coming from or what it was, but the tingling warmth that seemed to surround everyone that night was palpable. And then someone said to me, “I can really feel the love here tonight.”
Yes. That was it. These people were launching my book into the world with wings of love, sending it to anyone in pain, suffering with disease symptoms or struggling as a care giver for someone else. My book would give so many more people on the planet hope that they could feel better with a loving touch called Bio-Touch. That has been Paul’s vision for 25 years. And on that special night his vision took flight, soaring into reality.
