Reasons for Optimism About Parkinson's Disease

12/2/2017

I often say, I don’t have a choice whether or not I have Parkinson’s,
but surrounding that non-choice is a million other choices I can make.

 ~ Michael J. Fox
I think there’s something so special about December. Yes, it’s colder and darker outside, but every year at this time, a pleasant nostalgia moves through my soul, settling over me like a toasty blanket. I try to ignore annoying stresses and focus on good memories, faith, and the pleasures of holiday gatherings with family and friends.

And, December is also Parkinson’s Awareness Month. The Michael J. Fox Foundation For Parkinson’s Research website states that “2017 marks the 200th anniversary of Parkinson’s disease (PD). The Michael J. Fox Foundation started with one urgent goal — find a cure and go out of business. While 200 years is far too long for patients and their loved ones to wait, there has been significant scientific progress in the last few decades alone and there is tremendous cause for optimism.”

Parkinson’s disease is a progressive, degenerative disorder of the brain that occurs as the result of insufficient quantities of the neurotransmitter dopamine in a part of the brain called the substantia nigra.

The distinctive symptoms of Parkinson’s disease include:

Tremors
Many people with Parkinson’s disease develop tremors that are most prominent in the hands and fingers. These tend to occur when the limbs are relaxed, disappearing when performing tasks such as drinking or eating. About 30% of people with Parkinson’s disease never develop a tremor.

Stiffness
This is a common early sign of Parkinson’s disease and is most obvious in the arms, shoulder or neck, although it can occur in all muscle groups. People may have difficulty getting out of a chair, turning or rolling over in bed, or walking. Fine finger movements such as tying a shoelace may also be difficult. Pain or a deep aching sensation in the muscles may also be felt.

Bradykinesia
This means slowness of movement and is a disabling and frustrating symptom of Parkinson’s disease. People have difficulty initiating movement and movement may be slow. There may also be a lack of coordination when moving.

Loss of Balance
This is a symptom that tends to develop later in Parkinson’s disease. Because of impaired balance and co-ordination, a person with Parkinson’s disease can develop a forward or backward lean. They may start to walk with small steps. Falls are common.

Bio-Touch has been shown to ease symptoms associated with Parkinson’s disease. While not a substitute for standard medical care, Bio-Touch is an effective touch-healing technique that complements mainstream medical protocols. Everyone can learn how to use Bio-Touch, without being concerned about negative side effects.

Gratefulness

11/2/2017

Gratitude doesn’t change the scenery. It merely washes clean
the glass you look through so you can clearly see the colors.

~ Richelle E. Goodrich
As another Thanksgiving approaches, my mind starts tallying up all I have to be grateful for. I pause to reflect on the past year, uttering a silent “thank you” as memories, like photographs, come together to create my inner collage.

Of course, some years don’t have as many “thank-you” memories as others. But this has been a boon year for me in the gratitude department. First of all, our kids are healthy and enjoying their lives—enough said. Next, I’m thankful that my husband, Howard, was finally able to retire. We sold our large home in Tucson quickly, finding a smaller home in an active adult community outside of Phoenix that is just perfect for us. We moved in April and couldn’t be happier. I’m also grateful that hubby and I are able to travel fairly often. In fact, we just came home from three weeks in Europe seeing incredible sights in Italy, Spain, Portugal, and France.

However, I didn’t have to look too far beyond those wonders to see how many people, tourists as well as locals, were limping with a cane or walker, their faces lined with pain. Some, among the throngs of sightseers, were wincing with what appeared to be back pain, their groans commanding their stiffened bodies to obey. Their plight was made more difficult due to the multitude of stairs, hills, and narrow, winding cobblestone streets. And, I couldn’t even count the number of people on the airplanes, buses, and cruise ship who were wheezing, coughing, sneezing, and blowing their noses. Ah, the human condition!

All I could think about was how those people needed to discover Bio-Touch, and how grateful I was to have embraced this simple, loving, touch-healing technique for myself and my family! The Bio-Touch organization’s mission is to teach more and more people, around the world, about Bio-Touch. They’ve worked hard for many years to make that happen. Their continued dedication to that goal is something we should all be grateful for. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Prenatal Care and Bio-Touch

10/3/2017

To be pregnant is to be vitally alive,
thoroughly woman, and undoubtedly inhabited.

 ~ Anne Buchanan
I remember how incredibly special it felt to be pregnant with my children, trying to reconcile the awe I felt for what my body was creating, with the weird symptoms occurring on a daily basis.

The worst was the morning sickness. For the first four months while carrying my daughter, Jill, I’d wake up each day and retch. Previously comforting scents like roasted meat, perfume, and soaps now caused me to turn green. Seeing chunky red tomato sauce in a pot or on a television commercial (that’s when Prego first came out) sent me running to the nearest bathroom.

Thankfully, I didn’t experience morning sickness while pregnant with my son, David. However, I was six years older, and fatigue was more of an issue, as was inflammation in my feet, and heartburn.

Friends who were also pregnant complained to me about their bladder and bowel issues, stretch marks, tooth and gum pain, backaches, headaches, and more. Sometimes those issues were enough to turn the awesomeness into awfulness. Ugh!

It’s very important to have regular checkups with your doctor as part of your prenatal care. However, Bio-Touch can help relieve many of the discomforts associated with pregnancy. Bio-Touch is the best complementary healing technique to add to regular medical protocols. And it’s easy for everyone to learn.

Embrace the Pain

9/5/2017

We must embrace pain and burn it as fuel for our journey.
~ Kenji Miyazawa
Cancer. It’s a hot-button word that can evoke deep emotions—fear, anger, sadness, gratitude, and even joyful triumph. As do many of you, I have friends and loved ones who have fought the disease. Alas, some have succumbed, but others have survived and been restored to good health.

Cancer refers to any one of many diseases characterized by the development of abnormal cells that divide uncontrollably, and have the ability to infiltrate and destroy normal body tissue. Cancer is often able to spread throughout the body, as well. It’s the second leading cause of death in the United States.

Some general signs and symptoms associated with, but not specific to cancer include:
  • Fatigue
  • Lump or thickening that can be felt under the skin
  • Weight changes, including unintended loss or gain
  • Skin changes, such as yellowing, darkening, redness, sores that don’t heal, or changes to existing moles
  • Changes in bowel or bladder habits
  • Persistent cough or trouble breathing
  • Difficulty swallowing
  • Hoarseness
  • Unexplained bleeding or bruising

Tumors, also known as neoplasms, are abnormal masses of tissue which may be solid or fluid-filled. A tumor does not automatically mean cancer —tumors can be benign (not cancerous), pre-malignant (pre-cancerous), or malignant (cancerous).

There are many different types of tumors and a variety of names for them – their names usually reflect their shape and the kind of tissue they appear in. Put simply, a tumor is a kind of lump or swelling that does not necessarily pose a health threat.

Cancer takes many forms and can be a frightening diagnosis. But survival rates are improving for many types of cancer, thanks to improvements in cancer screening and treatment.

Bio-Touch, used in conjunction with standard medical care such as chemotherapy and radiation, can produce very beneficial results. Reduction of stress is one of those benefits, as well as a lessening of side effects from chemo and radiation. Bio-Touch has even been known to help in the shrinking of tumors.

What’s more, preliminary research has shown that the use of Bio-Touch raises levels of Interleukin-12 (IL-12) (see Research Articles on the Bio-Touch website justtouch.com). There has been interest in the medical community to testing IL-12 as a possible anti-cancer agent because of its ability to induce immune responses, and its anti-angiogenic (inhibits growth of new blood vessels) activities.

Bio-Touch can be safely included as part of any protocol for cancer because it’s non-invasive and free of negative side effects! It’s the perfect complementary therapy to mainstream medical treatment. And it’s easy for everyone to learn.

Shingles & Psoriasis

8/2/2017

There is no pain greater than to be helpless in the face
of a loved one's suffering.

~ Author Unknown
Shingles and Psoriasis are skin conditions that can not only devastate the skin, but can wreak havoc on a person’s entire life.

When my friend suffered with the pain of shingles recently, she told me how it negatively affected her ability to move, regulate her body temperature, sleep, or control her emotions. Her peace of mind had vanished. Thank heavens she’s back to her old self now, but during the worst of it, she had gone from being a vibrant, upbeat, confident woman to a teary, tentative shadow of herself.

According to the Centers for Disease Control, about 1 in 3 people will develop shingles at some point in their lives, with an estimated 1 million cases of shingles each year in the United States. The risk of developing shingles increases with age, with approximately half of all cases appearing in those who are 60 and older.

A shingles rash can appear anywhere on the body. Often, though, it’s found on the right or left side of the torso. It may also spread to the face, back, chest, or abdomen. The rash is usually quite painful, itchy, and sensitive to the touch. There may be pain at the surface of the skin a few days before the noticeable rash develops. Other shingles symptoms may include fever, fatigue, and headache.

Psoriasis was not a condition I was familiar with until I had to learn about it “first-hand” while volunteering at the Center in Tucson years ago. A young man with a full-blown flare-up came in for a Bio-Touch session. Being a new, inexperienced practitioner, I was frightened by the state of his skin. It threw me for such a loop, I later included the gut-wrenching experience in Chapter 5 of my book, Bio-Touch: Healing With The Power In Our Fingertips.

According to the American Academy of Dermatology, 7.5 million people in the United States have psoriasis. Many begin to see symptoms between 15 and 30 years of age. Another peak time for psoriasis symptoms is between the ages of 50 and 60.

Psoriasis is a chronic autoimmune disorder, and it can appear on different places on the body at different times. Patches of dead, scaly skin typically form on the torso, scalp, knees, and elbows. Psoriasis may also affect the fingernails and toenails. The red rash of psoriasis may be covered with silvery scales or dry, cracked skin. The affected areas may itch or burn.

Bio-Touch, the most unique healing technique, has been shown to ease the pain and other symptoms associated with shingles and psoriasis. It’s the perfect complementary therapy to mainstream medical treatment and is easy for everyone to learn.

Grandma's Arthritis

7/2/2017

Pain has a way of clipping our wings and keeping us from being
able to fly … and if left unresolved for very long, you can almost
forget that you were ever created to fly in the first place.

~ WM. Paul Young, The Shack
When I was a little girl, I loved spending time at my grandmother’s house. I still remember the delightful mix of aromas—Ivory soap, onions and beef browning on the stove, and flaky fruit pastries baking in the oven. It was heavenly!

But I also remember how Grandma Mary’s sweet smiling face would suddenly contort in pain as her arthritic fingers began to throb. She would put down her large wooden spoon and grab the aspirin bottle, swallowing yet more of the little white pills. Then she’d rub her hands together trying to get some relief.

I don’t know which type she had, but the two most common types of arthritis — osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis — damage joints in different ways.

Osteoarthritis involves wear-and-tear damage to the joint’s cartilage that can occur over many years, or can be brought on by a joint injury or infection. This type of arthritis most often develops in adults who are in their late 40s or older. It’s also more common in women and people with a family history of the condition. However, it can occur at any age.

Osteoarthritis initially affects the smooth cartilage lining of the joint. This makes movement more difficult, leading to pain and stiffness. Once the cartilage lining starts to roughen and thin out, the tendons and ligaments have to work harder. This can cause swelling and the formation of bony spurs. Severe loss of cartilage can lead to bone rubbing on bone, altering the shape of the joint and forcing the bones out of their normal position. The most commonly affected joints are those in the hands, spine, knees, and hips.

In rheumatoid arthritis (RA), the body’s immune system attacks the lining of the joint capsules—tough membranes that enclose all the joint parts. This lining then becomes inflamed and swollen. RA is classified as systemic, meaning it can permeate the entire body. The exact cause of RA remains unknown, but women are diagnosed three times more often than men, and it is suspected that estrogen may play a role.

The symptoms of arthritis vary depending on the type. Here are some of them:

  • joint pain, tenderness and stiffness
  • inflammation in and around the joints
  • restricted movement of the joints
  • warm, red skin over the affected joint
  • weakness and muscle wasting

Bio-Touch has been shown to alleviate the pain and reduce the inflammation associated with arthritis. While not a substitute for standard medical care, Bio-Touch is the perfect touch-healing therapy that complements mainstream medicine. And best of all, everyone can learn to use it.

After The Meal...

6/4/2017

So many of the pleasures of life are illusory,
but a good dinner is a reality.

~ Joseph Chamberlain
When I’m out at a nice restaurant having a delicious dinner with family or friends, the last thing on my mind is what will happen to my food after I’ve chewed it up. I don’t think about where those scrumptious morsels of steak or chocolate molten lava cake go once they leave my palate and slide “down the hatch.”

But the nuts and bolts of the digestive process are fascinating. When we swallow, food passes down a long tube, known as the esophagus, into the stomach. This tube must pass through a muscle known as the diaphragm, which is located near the bottom of the rib cage. There is an opening in the diaphragm that permits the esophagus to pass through, which is regulated by a sphincter muscle. The sphincter relaxes and opens when we swallow, to permit food to pass through the diaphragm and into the stomach. Then this sphincter closes to prevent stomach acid from coming back up into the throat. In that way, we can savor our meal, feeling satisfied as it efficiently digests. It’s a brilliant system, and works like a charm. Until it doesn’t.

Acid reflux or Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) occurs when stomach acid flows upward into our esophagus. GERD can be aggravated by a number of different factors, including a hiatal hernia, which is a condition in which a small part of the stomach bulges and rolls or slides up into this opening and becomes stuck there. When part of the stomach is forced up into the diaphragm, the sphincter muscle cannot close properly. So, the stomach acid travels back up causing burning sensations, esophageal spasms, inflammation and ulcers.

The symptoms of acid reflux are:
  • Heartburn:
  • Pain in the upper abdomen and chest.
  • An acid taste in the mouth.
  • Bloating
  • Belching
  • Difficulty swallowing.
  • A burning pain when swallowing hot drinks.
  • Fatigue
  • Sore throat
These symptoms can come and go, but tend to be worse after a meal, making the entire dining and digestive process a lot less enjoyable.

Bio-Touch has been shown to ease the symptoms associated with acid reflux. While not a substitute for standard medical care, Bio-Touch is the perfect touch-healing therapy that complements mainstream medicine. And best of all, everyone can learn to use it.

The Amazing Heart

5/4/2017

There’s nothing more inspiring than the complexity
and beauty of the human heart.

~ Cynthia Hand
When I put my hand on my chest, I can feel my heartbeat. But I never really pondered the mechanism of the human heart. Here are some fascinating facts:
  • The heart begins to beat four weeks after conception.
  • The heart of an average man beats approximately 70 times per minute whereas the average woman’s heart beats at 78 beats per minute.
  • The heart beats around 100,000 times in a single day, sending approximately 2,000 gallons of blood to different parts of the body, and pumping roughly 1 million barrels of blood during an average lifetime—enough to fill more than 3 super tankers.
  • The blood vessels in our bodies are 60,000 miles long.
  • The heart pumps blood to almost all of the body’s 75 trillion cells. Only the corneas receive no blood supply.
The heart is absolutely amazing. However, sometimes things go wrong. Angina Pectoris causes chest pain because the heart muscle doesn’t get as much blood as it needs when the heart’s arteries are narrowed or blocked. Angina often occurs during times of physical activity or strong emotions. The narrowed arteries may allow enough blood to reach the heart when the demand for oxygen is low, such as when at rest. But with physical exertion—like walking up a hill or climbing stairs—the heart works harder and needs more oxygen.

High blood pressure, or hypertension, is a condition in which the force of the blood against the artery walls is too high. Blood pressure is determined both by the amount of blood the heart pumps and the amount of resistance to blood-flow in the arteries. The more blood the heart pumps and the narrower the arteries, the higher the blood pressure readings. Usually hypertension is defined as blood pressure above 140/90, and is considered severe if the pressure is above 180/120. High blood pressure often has no symptoms, even if blood pressure readings reach dangerously high levels.

Arrhythmia is improper beating of the heart, whether irregular, too fast, or too slow. Arrhythmias are primarily the result of a disturbance in the electrical system within the heart that stimulates the heart to beat. Some of the symptoms can be barely perceptible, whereas others may be more dramatic such as palpitations, light-headedness, and fainting.

Bio-Touch has been shown to ease the symptoms associated with heart conditions. While not a substitute for standard medical care, Bio-Touch is the perfect touch-healing therapy that complements mainstream medical protocols. And best of all, everyone can learn to use Bio-Touch.

Spring in the Air

3/2/2017

The beautiful spring came; and when Nature resumes her loveliness,
the human soul is apt to revive also.

~ Harriet Ann Jacobs
Ahhh…March…spring is in the air, hinting at nature’s upcoming rebirth. It’s time to shed the trappings and wrappings of winter’s chill and enjoy another season of renewal.

March is also Brain Injury Awareness Month. Did you know that Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) are a leading cause of death and disability in the United States, and impact millions of people every year? Whether a brain injury is suffered in a car crash, a workplace accident, a fall, or from any other situation, the consequences can be devastating and life changing.

There are two types of Traumatic Brain Injuries:
  • Open Head Injury: An Open Head Injury occurs when a foreign object enters or penetrates the skull. These injuries can occur when a projectile enters the skull, but they can also result from accidents where a skull fracture causes a piece of bone to enter the brain.
  • Closed Head Injury: A Closed Head Injury occurs when the head suffers a concussive or forceful blow. These injuries can result when any type of sudden, violent motion causes the brain to knock against the inside of the skull.

The following sobering statistics come from the Brain Injury Association of America:
  • 3 million Americans are currently living with some form of TBI-related disability.
  • 137 people in the United States die every day as a result of a TBI-related injury. That amounts to more than 50,000 TBI-related fatalities every year.
  • Someone in the U.S sustains a TBI every 13 seconds.
  • Falls account for 40.5% of all TBIs, and car accidents account for 14.3%.

Symptoms of brain injury include fatigue, headaches, visual problems, memory loss, poor attention and concentration, dizziness, loss of balance, seizures, slowness of thinking, and many more, depending on the severity of the injury.

There are specific Bio-Touch points that address the brain and symptoms associated with brain injuries. Bio-Touch is the perfect touch-healing technique to use in conjunction with mainstream medical protocols. And everyone can learn to use it effectively.

National Senior Independence Month

2/2/2017

By the time you're eighty years old you've learned everything.
You only have to remember it.

~ George Burns
February marks National Senior Independence Month. For many of us, growing older has plenty of perks—we can enjoy our children as adults, play with our grandchildren, scale back on work or retire, and find time to explore new interests and hobbies.

But some of the simplest tasks—like remembering to take our medications—can become challenging, no matter how much we try to stay healthy, eat right, and exercise.

It’s hard for me to imagine the possibility of having to leave our home someday, because my husband and I can no longer keep up with daily tasks due to memory loss, dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. Like many people, we’ve worked and played hard over the years, loved keeping our home in excellent condition, and relished the freedom to make decisions for ourselves. Yet, we know there may come a day when memory loss causes us to relinquish our home and our cherished independence because we need help managing our daily lives. In fact, over 35 million people in the world have some form of dementia, and it’s projected that the number will nearly double every 20 years.

Thank heavens Bio-Touch has been shown to help ease memory loss! Bio-Touch is the perfect touch-healing technique that complements mainstream medical protocols. And best of all, everyone can learn to use Bio-Touch.

Here's To Good Health in the New Year

1/1/2017

Happy New Year 2017! May it be an amazingly positive year for all of us, filled with love, joy, and good health!

For some people, though, good health can be a challenge when they suffer with symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) or Crohn’s disease.

IBS is a common functional disorder of the gut. A functional disorder means there is a problem with the function of a part of the body, but there is no abnormality in the structure. IBS can affect anyone at any age, but it commonly first develops in young adults and is more common in women than in men. Symptoms include intermittent pain and discomfort that occur in different parts of the abdomen. Bloating and swelling of the abdomen may also develop from time to time along with bouts of diarrhea that alternate with bouts of constipation. Other symptoms can include poor appetite, fatigue, backache, and joint pain.

The causes of Crohn’s disease are not well understood. Named for Dr. Burrill B. Crohn, the disease causes chronic inflammation of the intestines. Diet and stress may aggravate Crohn’s disease, but they do not cause the disease. Recent research suggests that hereditary, genetics, and/or environmental factors contribute to its development. Symptoms include abdominal pain, severe diarrhea, fever, fatigue, weight loss, and malnutrition.

But there is good news. Bio-Touch has been shown to help alleviate the symptoms of IBS and Crohn’s disease. Bio-Touch is the perfect touch-healing technique to use in conjunction with mainstream medical protocols. Click here to learn about Bio-Touch as a touch healing technique for IBS. What an empowering way to start the New Year!

'Tis The Season!

12/7/2016

Only by giving are you able to receive more than you already have.
~ Jim Rohn
In this month of Holiday gift giving I, like many of us, find myself trying to find a happy medium. I want to soak up the deeper, spiritual meanings that can strengthen and re-invigorate my faith, yet still enjoy the frivolity of the parties, the mouth-watering flavors of once-a-year recipes, and the excitement of presents wrapped in glittery paper. It’s easy to get deliciously caught up in the Holiday spirit. I want to give friends and loved ones tokens of my esteem and appreciation, and I’m happy to accept them in return. ‘Tis the season! Giving is receiving, as the saying goes.

Professor Michal Ann Strahilevitz’s research reveals that “people want to give because we get an emotional boost— a warm glow of pleasure making us feel better about ourselves. Giving helps us avoid feeling guilty and preserves our self-image. And the emotional benefit is highest when we spread out giving into separate experiences rather than doing it once. The sum of each positive experience is bigger than the high of one gift.”

But what should we give? What perfect present is there to represent our feelings? There are so many choices and so many chances to get it wrong. Vibrantly colored or muted scarf? Santa or snowflake sweater? Slippers again? Something electronic? How about a Canadian Moose wall plaque that plays Jingle Bells?

Actually, the perfect gift for everyone on your list is easy and fun to give. It’s Bio-Touch, of course! It’s a gift of love in itself—a light touch from one person to another—that reduces stress and pain, and creates feelings of being cared for.

For only $18.00 you can give a beautiful gift certificate that entitles the recipient to a one-year membership to the International Foundation of Bio-Magnetics. Those special people on your list will receive incredible benefits along with their membership—it’s a gift that keeps on giving the whole year through!

And you’ll feel great because your gift helps support a dedicated and caring organization whose vision, for 27 years, has been for everyone on the planet to enjoy a community of healing by using Bio-Touch—a true gift to humanity.

Happy Holidays everyone!!

Practicing Gratitude

11/2/2016

The more you thank life, the more life gives you to be thankful for.
~ Author Unknown
Thank you life! I really appreciate how blessed I am in so many ways, and how I’m surrounded by the love of family and friends. And from now on, I’m going to hit the pause button more often during my day to acknowledge and embrace my thankfulness.

Gratitude is a popular theme in the United States during Thanksgiving time, when Americans are supposed to reflect on what they are thankful for. But apparently it’s not the only time they do so. A majority of Americans (78%) feel a strong sense of gratitude or thankfulness on a weekly basis, according to a 2015 poll by the Pew Research Center.

And that’s a good thing, because a study from the Greater Good Science Center at the University of California, Berkeley, showed that practitioners of gratitude have:

  • Stronger immune systems and lower blood pressure
  • Higher levels of positive emotions
  • More joy, optimism, and happiness
  • More generosity and compassion
  • Fewer feelings of loneliness and isolation

What’s more, according to recent neuroscience studies at the National Institute of Health, when we feel gratitude our brain does two things: first, we have “more activity in the hypothalamus which controls bodily habits such as eating, drinking, and sleeping, and influences our stress levels, thus promoting better sleep, nutrition, and decreased depression; and second, we activate dopamine, the ‘feel good’ transmitter which also promotes action and forms habits, thus activating a positive response again and again.”

So, our brains are actually hard wired to receive positive responses when we practice gratitude. Of course that reminds me of Bio-Touch. Just as those studies showed the benefits of practicing gratitude, studies on Bio-Touch have shown similar outcomes. After having Bio-Touch, people feel more cared for, their stress, blood pressure, and pain levels are lowered and they feel relaxed and happier.

When I think about the vision that the Bio-Touch organization has—seeing people all over the planet sharing Bio-Touch with their families and friends in a community of healing—I can also envision such a community filled with gratitude as their health and happiness skyrockets. Talk about taking responsibility for our own health! That’s why we should share Bio-Touch and be grateful for this gift to humanity. It’s a win-win for all of us!

It Is Your Birthright to be Healthy, Happy and Loved!

10/3/2016

What a powerful concept! Over the years, I’ve read and heard the quote “It is your birthright to be healthy, happy, and loved” many times throughout my association with the Bio-Touch organization. But before now I hadn’t stopped to consider what it really meant.

The dictionary defines birthright as “a right, privilege, or possession to which a person is entitled from birth.” Therefore, the quote means that each and every one of us is entitled to be healthy, happy, and loved from birth and throughout our lives. Wow!
Yet, how many of us have fully embraced that notion, or have even gotten that memo to begin with? It certainly wasn’t a concept I heard growing up or in public or religious school. But what if we all had learned about it and accepted it as the norm from childhood? How differently would we have lived our lives? How much more would we have expected, or even demanded with regard to the quality of our healthcare, life’s work, hobbies, relationships and so much more?

That’s why the Bio-Touch organization strives to empower everyone with this knowledge so they’ll reclaim their birthright to be healthy, happy, and loved, no matter what their history, their belief systems, their physical or emotional conditions, etc. Since I’ve discovered Bio-Touch and shared it with others, I’ve seen, over and over again, how people in pain relax and smile after simply being lightly touched on a few points on their bodies. I’ve been on the receiving end of that remarkable phenomenon, too.

Deep down inside we start to feel that necessary connection with another human being through this unique healing technique, and know intrinsically that we’ve experienced the love that comes with that connection. It nurtures and strengthens our very core, reminding us and bringing us into the correct alignment with our beautiful birthright, even if we never knew we were so entitled!

Healing Balm of Equality

9/5/2016

Perfect love cannot be without equality.
~ Scottish Proverb
I love the way sharing and receiving Bio-Touch rewards people with so many beneficial gifts! Of course there is the relaxation, lowered stress levels, reduction in pain and relief of disease symptoms. Even more amazing, though, is how this light touch reaches deep into our very being, letting us know that things are okay. We aren’t alone; someone is there, connecting with us. That’s where the healing process really begins. It’s love, and we all need and crave that loving touch whether we realize it or not.

But there’s another significant benefit to Bio-Touch that you may not have thought about. Bio-Touch promotes equality of humanity. Wow! How does such a simple healing technique do that? By leveling the playing field between people the moment one touches another on the Greeting point. Immediately, who someone is, where they’re from, or what level of education they’ve received ceases to be relevant. Their age, sex, weight, skin color, belief system, bank book, and political affiliation evaporates like yesterday’s clouds.

What matters is this truth: each of us is from planet Earth and has a mind and body that sometimes gets out of whack. That is the human condition. It’s what we all have in common and can relate to after all the other stuff has been stripped away. Bio-Touch is the healing balm of equality for humanity. And that’s the biggest gift of all!
