"By the time you're eighty years old you've learned everything. You only have to remember it."
~ George Burns
February marks National Senior Independence Month. For many of us, growing older has plenty of perks—we can enjoy our children as adults, play with our grandchildren, scale back on work or retire, and find time to explore new interests and hobbies.
But some of the simplest tasks—like remembering to take our medications—can become challenging, no matter how much we try to stay healthy, eat right, and exercise.
It’s hard for me to imagine the possibility of having to leave our home someday, because my husband and I can no longer keep up with daily tasks due to memory loss, dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. Like many people, we’ve worked and played hard over the years, loved keeping our home in excellent condition, and relished the freedom to make decisions for ourselves. Yet, we know there may come a day when memory loss causes us to relinquish our home and our cherished independence because we need help managing our daily lives. In fact, over 35 million people in the world have some form of dementia, and it’s projected that the number will nearly double every 20 years.
Thank heavens Bio-Touch has been shown to help ease memory loss! Bio-Touch is the perfect touch-healing technique that complements mainstream medical protocols. And best of all, everyone can learn to use Bio-Touch.
