I was born into a close-knit, loving family, and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. I met my husband, Howard, while attending the University of Cincinnati. Relishing a traditional marriage, I loved being a stay-at-home mom to our two children, Jill and David. I spent my free time volunteering for numerous organizations.
After watching the movie "Resurrection," in which Ellen Burstyn brilliantly played the role of a hands-on healer, I became fascinated with the subject. So I began "healing" friends and family by willing warmth and energy into my fingers. Sometimes it even worked! But that method, along with strong doctor-prescribed pain killers, failed when I needed it the most—to ease our daughter’s misery during a terrible illness in 2009. After Jill recovered, I was desperate to find a technique that I could count on so I’d never have to feel so helpless or hopeless again. My search ended when I discovered Bio-Touch.
In 2010, I proudly became a Certified Practitioner of Bio-Touch and joined the other volunteers as a staff member at the Bio-Touch Center in Tucson, Arizona. There, I have given hundreds of Bio-Touch sessions on a donations-only basis. I served as a Director of the International Foundation of Bio-Magnetics (IFBM), the educational arm for the Bio-Touch organization, and I wrote web content, blogs, newsletters, and articles for IFBM.
In addition to writing, I enjoy reading, baking, spending time with our family, and traveling with Howard.
